Yes. The Boonah Showgrounds is a canine-friendly site. Please keep your canine contained, or on a leash at all times, and please clean up after them.
Yes. Tickets can be bought at the gate with either cash or cashless via a QR code using your personal digital banking.
Gates open at 8.00am and close at 4.00pm
Entertainment finishes between at 4.00pm & 4.30pm both days.
Absolutely! There are Clydesdales and other horse breeds onsite all weekend.
Absolutely! The bands play throughout the day on both days.
Saturday and Sunday are both great days to attend. Much of the program is duplicated on both days however, there are some events and entertainment that only happen on Saturday and similarly only happen on Sunday. Yes. Each companion card holder who has purchased a ticket can have one carer enter FOC. The companion card must be sighted.

The Showgrounds is a typical Queensland country Showgrounds. It is large and flat. The different onsite terrain include, well kept, grass areas, dirt roadways, bitumen/concrete areas, and there are some sloped and uneven areas. The buildings and pavilions that are used for the Clydie Spectacular are all accessible via ground level and have no steps. Entry to our main arena has a small slope to navigate in and out.
Yes. Each year a designated area for disabled event parking is allocated. Should the designated area be full, the entry gate on Macquarie Street has a designated area for easy drop-off. Click here to see parking location on our site map.
